Connect with a community of experts
At PartnerRe, you are part of a global powerhouse with real connection. Our commitment to collaboration and communication makes the company feel small and collegial - more like a community of curious, intelligent experts spread across the world.
Being part of a global community means that we are a diverse company by our very nature. We are committed to fostering an environment and culture in which people of all backgrounds and identities are welcomed and have the opportunity to grow and perform at their best.
Our company culture
At PartnerRe, we promote a culture that is inclusive and open, honest and humble, and seeks to continuously improve to achieve maximum potential. We are proud of our culture and we have a number of initiatives aimed at intentionally building on what is best about PartnerRe.
Culture of inclusion
Creating an environment where every employee feels welcomed, respected and able to perform at their best matters to us. That means consciously hiring and advancing people from underrepresented groups to ensure that all kinds of backgrounds and identities can reach every level of the organization. It also means, whether at Board or entry level, everyone at PartnerRe is expected to learn and live the behaviors needed to foster an inclusive culture and an environment of respect.
Our global community of experts
We are proud of our global community. To make it easier for existing and new employees to extend their network within the company, we offer an initiative called Network Beyond Your Team. This online platform randomly pairs colleagues across office locations and at all levels to meet up for virtual or live lunch or coffee. Our aim is to facilitate one-to-one connections as a way for employees to build trust, develop networks and collaborate more effectively.
Communicating across boundaries
Our commitment to communication and collaboration are essential to preserving our global community. From regular live, company-wide town halls and webcasts, team meetings that span multiple time-zones, our state-of-the-art technology ensures our widely distributed organization feels small and collegiate. Our global intranet serves as a daily news hub, where employees can connect through company announcements, blogs and business updates.

Our people's stories
“From a business standpoint, having a network of international colleagues is key because you can access local knowledge if you need it. From a personal standpoint, you get exposed to all different kinds of people and cultures that help you to learn, not just how we see risk, but how we do business, and I’m endlessly fascinated by that."
